My Students

My students from North Carolina attend a Google school in which they get to use technology to help prepare them for the 21st-century. The students are eager to learn and look forward to coming to school each day. I am very thankful to have such a great group of students who are motivated and eager to learn. I know that if they have all the materials they need, they will be very successful and always remember their 4th grade school year!

My Project

I want to provide my students with a flexible seating option when they finish their classwork. I want students to feel comfortable and relaxed as they go through the school day. As students finish their assignments they are given time to read a book of their choice or work on a learning game. When students are able to take a break from sitting at their desk and sit at a flexible seating option, it gives them time to relax after subjects and not feel overwhelmed. These squares are able to be washed as well, which is awesome due to COVID. There are enough for each student to have their own square during the school year that can be put into their cubby.
