Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to create a functional and inviting classroom. These materials will provide my students with a flexible seating area in our cool-down space, offering them a comfortable spot to relax and regroup. This setup will accommodate their unique needs, fostering a positive, organized learning environment where students feel comfortable, engaged, and supported.

What makes my students special is their curiosity, creativity, and resilience.

Despite the unique challenges they face as alternate assessment students, they show remarkable enthusiasm and progress. Their individual strengths make teaching them a rewarding experience, and a well-organized, flexible classroom will help them reach their full potential.
