My Project

I have been teaching for 18 years, but this will be my first year in kindergarten. I want my students to experience a calm, clean, organized environment. This can lead to fewer behavior problems, stronger engagement, and better academic performance.

My goal is for the carpet in this project to enhance the children's learning and make them feel like our classroom is their home away from home.

A carpet with sit spots will allow children to find their spot easily and know the space they are supposed to stay in. It will encourage active learning during circle times.

Our school had renovations done over the summer, and our classrooms now have tile. This carpet would add a warm feeling and quieter space to our day.
