Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a mental health counselor, I love getting to know my students on a personal level. I enjoy learning about their interests and strengths, using these as a guiding force for their treatment.

I will be using the requested materials to create a safe, comfortable, calming office space to meet with my counseling students.

The kinetic sand and sand tray will be great for my students who find comfort and relaxation by using their hands. The bookshelf and bean bag will be used to create a reading corner filled with socioemotional stories that my students can relate to and learn from.
