Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love how my students are always eager to learn, and they truly shine when provided with the right tools and environment to succeed. In our classroom, we strive to create spaces where every student feels comfortable, focused, and supported. The lounge chairs for flexible seating and the bean bag for our calm corner will make a tremendous difference by offering students the freedom to choose seating that helps them concentrate, feel at ease, and regulate their emotions.

The goal for this project is to enhance our learning environment by offering flexible seating options that cater to the diverse needs of my students.

These resources will provide comfort during independent work, group activities, and allow for a calming space where students can relax when they feel overwhelmed. By creating different learning spaces, I aim to boost engagement, productivity, and emotional well-being.

What makes my students special is their incredible resilience and ability to adapt. Many of them have unique learning needs, and they work hard every day to overcome challenges. Providing them with a learning environment tailored to their needs will help them continue to grow and thrive academically and emotionally.
