Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher, I believe that creating a cozy, inviting classroom space is key to making students feel comfortable and ready to learn. That’s why I’m hoping to transform a section of my classroom into a cozy corner where my students can relax, focus, and engage with their work in a calm and comfortable environment.

To make this space perfect, I’m in need of a few items:

Lamps to provide soft, warm lighting that sets a cozy, relaxed mood without being too harsh on their eyes.

Bean bags to create a comfortable seating area where students can read, think, or work on assignments in a peaceful space. (I requested this under a different project)

An organizer to keep all their books, supplies, and materials neat and within reach for students. This will help make the area both functional and clutter-free, so students can really focus on their tasks.

My goal is to amp up my classroom during this time of the year and incentivize to come to class and continue working hard.
