Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students that I teach would greatly appreciate having a cozy reading nook. The large rug I would love to have funded is for the students to learn during whole-group instruction. I want to create a cozy corner for students who need help managing their emotions. I have asked for social-emotional posters and tools to help students calm down when they struggle with transitions or social challenges. I would love for my students to feel extra comfortable in their classroom, and I think that all of these things will help create that environment.
