Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a group of adorable little smartypants that are always eager to learn. They have been working so hard since day one and I can see them progress a lot. Their efforts and enthusiasm for learning new things keep me going as their teacher every day.

The supplies such as the LED lights will help create a warm mood in the classroom, especially since our classroom is by the window and we need to turn off the lights oftentimes so we can see the projector better.

The candle warmer will definitely bring a calming fragrance to class, especially right after P.E. and lunchtime when kids play and get back sweaty in class. We can also make use of the fidget toys as forms of reward especially since we use PBIS and the students get a reward for every 30 points they earn.

As their teacher, I want to provide them with an environment conducive to learning and in order to make it happen, I need to provide my class with all the necessary supplies in order to run the class smoothly and give our students the comfort they need to ensure their growth. I want to make our classroom a safe haven where they feel warmth and comfort.
