This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I am a 5th grade regular education teacher in Chicago. Our classrooms range from 25- 32 students each year. Each year my students are eager to read and they love going to our classroom library. I want to make it possible for my students to become the best readers that they can be.
My students enjoy reading and we spend time reading everyday. Right now at the reading center, we have lots of great books but unfortunately we don't have many places to read them except on the floor. Several times students have asked for bean bag chairs and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to provide them with a cozy corner to read. Also, when we do literature circles in Reading we also have to sit on the floor. Students get tired of sitting at their desk and chairs so I try to move them around the classroom. Bean bag chairs in the classroom would be a great opportunity for these students to move around and be in a comfortable reading environment.
A bean bag chair can transform the classroom into a cozy place to lounge with books, magazines, and games. It is a unique comfort that a desk and chair simply can't deliver. These bean bag chairs can make a difference and help boost reading skills.
Your help will make it possible to have a more inviting and cozy reading center. The bean bag chairs will be a comfortable and inviting place for students to capture the importance of reading. My children will enjoy these chairs for years to come.
