My Project

Our therapy room at PS 26 is constantly growing to help our students grow and reach their goals!

I am working to adapt our new(ish) space to be more welcoming to students and fill up our shelves with challenging activities to encourage development and function.

Turn-taking games and gross motor activities will increase students' social skills in group sessions while targeting other OT goals such as strengthening their hands and bodies. Sensory cocoon's provide a comfortable and safe space to decompress while providing regulating deep pressure input to little bodies.
