My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

Our classroom needs a cozy, comfortable place for students to relax and read. This school year has brought us many challenges and my students are remaining positive and motivated. One of the areas that we enjoy the most is our classroom library. The students choose books based on their reading level and they create a bin of books that they are interested in reading. The students can sit on the carpet and enjoy those books during our independent reading time. Our classroom location recently changed because our classroom was damaged due to a hot water tank issue and our carpet had to be thrown away. I'd like to surprise them with a new carpet so we can continue to read, read, read!
