This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I pride myself on having an inviting, welcoming homey classroom but sometimes that is not enough. Students at Miami High are always welcome to come inside and share their thoughts and feelings. However, there are times, when the students need a little more than just a listening ear or a friendly smile.

Some of our students's stress is beyond school work.

Some of their stress is from hunger, being able to provide a snack can help our students. Some need a little arts and crafts to relax, making their own buttons to express themselves or even decorating their favorite objects can really help.
