This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One valuable resource in any classroom is a Calm Down Corner where students can spend enough time to engage in a calming activity, manage their emotions and regain focus. The materials will be used in creating a calm down corner in our classroom for the students to help them calm down, reflect or focus. A comfortable seat for them to have a cozy space. Stress relief materials that provide sensory inputs for kids to help them refocus and relax.
Helping us create this corner can help our students when they need a break or to calm down.
