Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Having a new rug that isn't frayed/thinning/stained will allow them to have another area to choose for flexible seating. The addition of headphones will allow them to concentrate on their math and reading centers on their computers to allow for comfortable and cozy learning within their classroom. The use of headphones helps students of all levels interact in differentiated lessons and can be a burden for some of their families to supply. My students are working really hard to make academic and emotional gains after the gaps in their learning from COVID-19 and they deserve a cozy classroom to spend their time in.
