Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A classroom is a second home for students. I want the classroom to feel like a comfortable and safe place for all of my students. A classroom rug is one of the most important factors in achieving this.

A classroom rug is a play area, small group center, reading area, and a place for students to practice coping skills after a difficult encounter!

A new classroom rug will enable my students to develop their love of reading with a cozy spot to take their books. It's also a perfect spot for students to use our STEM tools to build their understanding of physics and even geometry. Students may even use it as a place to work that is more comfortable than their desks.
