My Project

A cozy, durable classroom rug will transform our learning environment by providing a designated space for students to gather, collaborate, and engage in group activities. Whether it’s for reading, solving math problems, or class discussions, the rug will create an inviting and organized area where students feel comfortable and focused. This shared space will also foster a sense of community and teamwork, which is essential for meaningful learning experiences.

My goal is to create a welcoming and functional classroom environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The rug will support collaborative learning, encourage active participation, and provide a central space for daily activities like morning meetings, read-alouds, and small-group instruction. By enhancing the physical classroom space, I aim to boost engagement and help students feel connected and confident.

My students are curious, energetic, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives to our classroom. They thrive when given the tools and spaces that support their growth as learners and individuals. Despite challenges they may face outside of school, they show up every day ready to learn, collaborate, and succeed. This project will give them a space that matches their enthusiasm and helps them feel valued and supported.
