Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a wonderful classroom library filled with many books I have collected over the years, (many from DonorsChoose!), we also have a big comfy chair, bean bags, and pillows, but we are missing one very important component, a carpet!

Our classroom would love a small carpet for our classroom to make it a more cozy and comfortable place to read.

Unfortunately we had a carpet, but it has mysteriously disappeared over summer with little hope of it returning. Currently the students have to sit on the cold linoleum in our library and I know that they would have a much better experience reading if we had a carpet for our library. Our classroom whiteboards are also in desperate need of being replaced. We would love a few to replace the dilapidated ones we have right now.
