My Project

In our Pre-k classroom, carpet time plays an essential role in our daily learning. It is a place for us to meet and come together as a whole class. We use the carpet as a place for reading stories, learning and movement as well as resting and relaxing. A cozy place on the carpet allows the students to collaborate and grow. My students love to dance and sing as well as mingle during our morning meetings, it's a place where we come together and feel safe just like at home. Feeling welcomed and comfortable is essential in our classroom.
