My Students

I have the pleasure of teaching 17 of the sweetest 4 and 5 year olds in Pre-K. Our school is a Title I school on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC. Several of my students have special learning needs, and most have challenges making ends meet at home. But, they all come to school ready to learn and love every minute of it.

My students are very inquisitive and love to learn and interact with a variety of materials.

Because of Covid 19, I teach live and virtual. My goal is to provide my young students with an array of learning experiences by providing interesting and engaging materials and supplies.

My Project

It is imperative that my students learn social skills in my classroom whether it is remote or in the classroom. Children need to be able to identify, acknowledge, accept, and express their emotions. I am in awe by the joy and enthusiasm my students bring to our classroom and I want to help them be the best humans possible. Help me give my preschoolers supplies and activities that will help regulate their emotions and social well being. Children who are mentally healthy tend to be happier, show greater motivation to learn, and have a more positive attitide.
