This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been highly impacted by COVID-19. Due to a lack of in-person learning during the pandemic, a lot of students have been negatively impacted. The requested resources will help to advance students' learning by being able to present lessons using the iPad. I currently struggle with a Chromebook that lags and is slow when presenting visuals. My students will be more excited and engaged using an iPad and the pencil to show their work to the class. The Apple TV will also help in facilitating learning for students in class. Every morning, we begin class with SEL, and the Promethean board is so slow I often lose students' engagement or they are unable to see visuals clearly. These resources will help the students' social-emotional learning as well as help them in their academic growth in the light of COVID-19.
