My Project

We are trying to build our country resources library to include some more research based, non fiction style books. Our students are currently studying various countries, but we are having to share resources. This project would provide enough resources that each child in our class would be able to research their own nation.

We know books can metaphorically take us to new places, but books about other countries can help us visit places we never dreamed of going.

Each child is aiming to become the expert on a different country. This project would help us expand our library to include Greece, South Korea, Egypt, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, Germany and Madagascar.

These additional books are also a great opportunity to reflect our ever changing student demographics and include books to include the diversity of our students.
