Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In looking to make a warm corner for my students, I thought about what I would want if I needed a break. I think these bean bag chairs will be the perfect comfy place for kids to take a break, practice some deep breathing, or even get some work done during lunch.

Fidget toys are always helpful as they give students something to do with their hands while talking.

The calming strips will be placed around our conference table where group counseling happens to give students a none distracting item to fidget with. I am hoping the breathing posters can provide students with activities they can do independently to regulate their emotions.
