My Project

Our students are strong, capable scholars who sometimes need help with regulating their emotions. Our students have unique needs and require various resources that suit them. I provide counseling/therapy services for our students and would like to broaden the tools at my disposal to better serve our students and help build their social emotional learning skills. This will in turn foster personal, psychological, social, emotional, and academic growth.

I would love to give the students I work with more therapeutic resource options to choose from when they see me for services.

This enables them to be in control of one aspect of our session and encourages their autonomy and confidence. I would love to incorporate more sensory items in my office space to address these needs for students as well. The floor pillows, sensory toys, and wall lights can be extremely beneficial for this purpose. Thank you for helping to make our school a wonderful place for all children!
