My Project

Therapy books and social emotional learning games will help my students in the Alternative to Suspension program develop self-regulation, relationship, and self-awareness skills. I am in the process of developing a counseling and SEL curriculum for the ATS program at G. High School. I need guidance provided by CBT and DBT resources as I develop and implement a curriculum that has never been in place in this program.

This diverse population of students face many challenges in and out of school, and have suffered trauma that impacts their learning in the mainstream school setting.

It is my goal to help them face their challenges and develop much needed coping skills to support them throughout their lives.
