My Project

A picture tells a thousand words but a costume transforms the actors into the character they are portraying. Having proper costumes will immerse the students and the audience into the world of the play, which is Willy Wonka. Though costumes help define a character, they can provide the opportunity for students be more creative when expressing their lines.

With the right set costumes, students can gain more confidence by making them feel more fully transformed into their character.

By requesting these specific costumes, we are providing students with the opportunity to use the fabrics, accessories, and the entire ensemble to enhance the story they are telling. The students can begin to engage with the characters they are playing and can begin to immerse themselves in the role. We are not only providing a costume but the development of confidence and creativity in young individuals for the future ahead.
