Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Second Grade Math, Science and Social Science. My second graders are an amazing group of students who attend a public Title 1 School. They love participating in class and they are eager to practice and go deeper until they are successful.

My students know the phrase, "The Power of Yet" and they are convinced that the more they practice, the more they learn.

As a teacher, my goal is to create a learning environment that meets the diverse needs of my students. Currently, our classroom resources are limited but our desire to make this year very successful is limitless. Thank you all so much for supporting my journey to create an amazing classroom for my second graders.

My Project

Teachers constantly need to expose the students to their maximum potential, and that is why providing them with differentiated activities during the lesson and assignments to work is very important.

Lessons are most of the time designed on the average level, but having the possibility to print different resources to reach every students´ needs could help them to improve their academic performance as well as motivate them to show what they are able to accomplish.

This printer will allow me to make the most of my classroom! There are many challenges nowadays in the educational field, but the one thing that is certain is that I am working hard to be prepared for an amazing year of learning with my 2nd grade scholars.

Also, sometimes the school printer is down, or there are may teachers waiting for their copies to be done, this copier would eliminate all the stress and hassle of trying to make copies and it would allow me to spend more time working on materials for my students. It would also help me to communicate with my parents by having documents prepared to send home that they may need. I would love having a copier in my classroom so I can print, copy and scan in a jiff! Thank you so much in advance for your help and support!
