This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have long thought that students can learn anything through play. I have more and more students that come to me dealing with very adult issues and a severe lack of coping skills.

I want to give my students with anger management, empathy, respect and impulse control issues the opportunity to use "play" as the medium for learning and growth.

They say it takes a village to raise a child...maybe a few games and toys can whittle that down to a neighborhood. It is definitely worth a try. It can't hurt.
