My Project

My students have worked hard to focus on using coping skills and making the best choices they can make at school. At times, my students can find difficulty in using coping skills and tools independently. The series, 'A Little Spot,' provides lots of great tools when dealing with different emotions. Using the series and the physical coping tools/strategies will help my students regulate which will in turn support them in accessing the curriculum. Students need to be in a regulated, calm state in order to successfully access and gain from the curriculum. I feel that these tools will be a welcomed support in my classroom.
