My Project
I teach 5th grade reading and that is an uphill battle in our current culture. I have to do all I can to develop lifelong readers. The curriculum that I have to use has very dull and unengaging workbooks. In addition to being dull in appearance, all of the texts are above their reading levels and have no racial diversity, making it more difficult to engage them. I'd like to create color resources to add interest and make it more visually pleasing in hopes that they will connect more. I teach in a low income school and we do not have access to colored copies. I teach 90-100 students. Over the life of this printer it will serves a thousand students or even more. I would be very appreciative of your support.
