Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school site is located in the San Fernando Valley where the weather can get very hot. My goal is to maintain a cool outdoor environment where students can comfortably explore and discover in their outdoor "nature" classroom.

What makes my students special is their love for Nature.

In some cases, they do not have an outdoor environment to keep them safe and cool in their home environment.

This project will provide my students the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor more in their school setting, knowing they can play, cool off as needed, and feel safe doing it.
