My Project

In my classroom, we place a high priority on integrating the arts into our classroom. Now we need to expand this learning to our homework. My students have so much passion for learning and for creating, and we need more opportunities to expand our perspectives and our creativity. These art kits are just the ticket.

Every week, three students will bring home one of these awesome art kits to create with their families as homework.

They will write a short summary of their experience and share it with the class. By having more access to a variety of art-focused activities at home, my students will develop their creativity and critical thinking skills. There is a wide variety of kits involved in this project, including: marble painting, paint-your-own lamps (soccer balls, kitties and puppies) and mini erasers. Students will be learning new techniques, problem-solving skills and enjoying creating with their families.

These art kits will give my students an incredible opportunity to practice art with their families. With these activities, we will continue to develop our creative minds and build a stronger community. Thank you for considering our project!
