My Project

I teach high school students with moderate to severe disabilities. Along with a speech therapist, we created a Kindness closet last year, where students can go whenever they are in need of something. This closet has basic necessities such as underwear, clothes, and hygiene items, but also has "pick me ups" such as snacks, hair accessories, beverages, and sensory items.

The purpose of this closet is to spread kindness among our school community, and ensure everyone has what they need to be successful!
