Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will use the cool off corner when they need a moment to regroup. Many of my students have mandated promoted breaks to help with learning. I think non mandated can benefit from this as well. Students can take 5-10 minutes to read, have a snack, sit on a bean bag, color, paint, or have a movement break. After my students have a few minutes to regroup they come back much more attentive to lesson, unfortunately I need more tools for this space. So far we have a designated area and a beautiful rug.
