This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work hard every day, and I want to provide them with a fun and refreshing way to stay cool and energized—a slushy machine! With support from The Tepper Foundation, this project will bring warmth and care to our classroom by ensuring students have access to a hydrating and enjoyable treat that helps them stay focused and engaged in learning.

Many students struggle with concentration, and hydration plays a key role in maintaining energy levels.

A slushy machine with cups will not only provide a refreshing break but also boost morale and create a positive classroom environment.
