My Project

My counseling space will serve as a safe, affirming and inclusive space for all students at our school. I am a School Counselor working at a middle school in the Bronx servicing 400 5th-8th graders!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase social emotional learning and student outcomes, you will empower our students to believe in themselves, advocate and understand their mental health as well as improve their understanding of each other!

Black and Brown students are disproportionately underserved and often lack mental health resources in schools. Our school works to combat stigma surrounding mental health as well as create a safe and therapeutic space for students to explore their identities, understand triggers and boundaries and become the best versions of themselves!
