My Project

The industrial fans we are requesting will make a significant difference in students' learning, especially considering the challenges they already face. The majority of our students come from a high-poverty, high-crime urban area, and many are minorities from economically disadvantaged families. These obstacles make it even more difficult for them to succeed academically. With classrooms consistently reaching 80°F and lacking proper ventilation, heat further hinders their ability to focus and perform. Heat-related discomfort leads to fatigue and distracts from learning, impacting cognitive performance and attention. By adding industrial fans, we can create a cooler, more comfortable environment, reducing heat-related distractions. This will help students stay focused, energized, and engaged, improving their ability to absorb and retain information. The fans will not only combat the physical discomfort of the heat but also provide a supportive learning space where students can overcome one more obstacle in their education.
