This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A lot of my students have a hard time regulating their emotions. This becomes a problem throughout the day when being asked to do non prefered academic tasks. The toys in my project will hopefully provide my students with high reward options to use after they complete a non preferred task or when they need time to decompress in the classroom. My hopes for my students is for them to know that my room is a safe calm space for them to be successful in their academics but also in their behavioral goals.
