My Students

When I was in Kindergarten my favorite day was cooking day! Once a week we would make a snack that went with the letter of the week such as lemon lollipops. I want to provide this same experiences for my children.

I am the proud teacher of 24 wonderful Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children.

We are a neighborhood school in a high poverty area where teaching children about nutrition is not a priority. My students are ready to learn all they can this school year and with your help I hope I can bring them the knowledge and joy of cooking in the classroom.

My Project

With your donation and the help of FEED USA, my students will be provided with a cooking kit and cooking unit. I will be able to provide my students with a plethora of exciting cooking experiences for my students. They will learn how to measure, nutrition skills, portion sizes, counting, adding, dividing and just the fun of learning to cook! Cooking will also emphasize the letter skills we are learning by giving the students a concrete activity to associate them to. Your donations will change the lives of my students.

Your donation will provide a lasting impression on my students about school and cooking.

Help my students enjoy these experiences that all children should have. You will be provided my students with opportunities that myself and their parents cannot. You can make a difference in the lives of my students.
