This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The ovens and skillets will significantly advance my students' culinary skills by teaching them temperature control, effective baking and cooking techniques, and how to achieve consistent results, all of which are essential for creating a variety of dishes and mastering advanced cooking methods.
The goals for this project are to obtain the necessary equipment needed to foster creativity in recipe development, build confidence in meal preparation, and develop essential kitchen skills that will support my student's future culinary and life endeavors.
My culinary students are special because they bring a unique blend of passion, creativity, and dedication to my Introduction to Culinary Class, along with a willingness to embrace new techniques and flavors, which fuels their growth and innovation in the culinary arts. My graduating class of 2024 students showed so much enthusiasm and gratitude for the culinary class, so my goal is to continue to make this class special for my students. I am truly honored to help my seniors with fostering a skill that they will need as they move on to their post-secondary journey.
