My Project

My students are special to me because they are excited to learn every day. They have positive attitudes towards learning and love creating in the kitchen. During the week we find new and interesting recipes to create that also teach them to measure, to understand time, to work in an assembly line, and to complete orders as we create meals for the staff. The plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery will help us as we prepare dishes to be served to the staff and the students, as well as they get to taste their own dishes.

The skills they learn will help them to become productive members of the community and to have survival skills that will lead to a successful life without assistance.

We are also requesting a cozy lounger to provide a flexible seating option in class.
