My Project
This project will truly make a difference to my students' learning as they will have the chance to perform basic recipes that can help ignite their interest to possible jobs related to cooking. Middle school students can benefit from a combination of culinary skills, nutrition education, and fostering a positive attitude towards cooking. This project aims to give opportunities to students to explore cooking as a basic skill and as a future occupation. We need kitchen towels, wipes and laundry detergent to use during our cooking lessons and to clean up after our class. My students will learn responsibility. We need sugar and soy sauce to use to make some of the recipes and we need reusable tumblers, rice cookers and plates in order to cook and serve some of the meals. With your donations, this could help our economically disadvantaged students have a meaningful and exciting experience in the classroom as this opportunity will prepare them for their future.
