Cooking in the Classroom

My students need more kitchen equipment, specifically a stand mixer, to use in their life skills program.

My Students

Please help us get more kitchen equipment for our life skills program. A KitchenAid will help us out, especially when we bake for our Thanksgiving Feast and when we bake all our holiday cookies.

My students are in a middle school career development program.

This program is designed for students with disabilities who need extra help with their life skills and social skills as well as their academics. We do a lot of cooking in the classroom to prepare them for everyday life skills.

My Project

A new KitchenAid mixer would be a great addition to the other kitchen equipment in our classroom. Right now, the students are using a hand mixer, but the KitchenAid has many other features that they can learn and use. Each year we make dozens of cookies around the holiday time for their families and staff members.

Please help my students by donating to our classroom.
