This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love food and they are curious about chemistry. I want to show how cooking and chemistry are so closely related.

With the materials purchased, students will be able learn how chemical reactions work in cooking or how certain chemicals make our recipes work.

These materials can be uses year after year and for other lessons that involve cooking an chemistry. They will get hands on experience in cooking foods and then seeing how a particular reaction or a particular takes place in the cooking process or the final product.
