This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At my high school, we believe in providing our students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for success in all areas of their lives. Through our culinary education program, we aim to enrich their learning experience and foster personal and academic growth. With your support, we are seeking an ice cream maker for our students.

By incorporating cooking classes into our curriculum, we will teach our students practical skills while also nurturing their creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence.

With the inclusion of an ice cream maker, we aim to create an engaging learning environment that motivates our students to attend school, especially during the summer months and improve attendance.

We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where our students feel valued and motivated to succeed. With a diverse student population, many facing challenges outside of school, cooking classes and the ice cream maker will offer a safe space for self-expression, talent discovery, and a sense of belonging.

Our long-term goal is to equip our students with the necessary skills and knowledge for their future endeavors. Through cooking classes, we will expose them to potential career paths in the culinary arts, inspiring them to pursue their passions. The ice cream maker will introduce them to the world of food entrepreneurship, fostering creativity and encouraging them to think innovatively about future business opportunities.

In conclusion, by funding our culinary education program and providing an ice cream maker, you will enhance their learning experience and contribute to their personal and academic growth. Together, let's empower our students to embrace their creativity, develop essential skills, and attend school more consistently, even during the summer months.
