Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In one of the most economically challenged districts in New York City, our students frequently face significant hardships. Their outlook on the future is often limited, and the prospect of attending school for an education is not something they eagerly anticipate. By providing them with some of their preferred snacks, such as Lays Potato Chips, Oreos, or Pop-Tarts, we can not only satisfy their hunger but also serve as a source of motivation to enhance their attendance and engagement in the classroom. This, in turn, will contribute to their overall success in their academic journey. If you could find it within yourself to support this initiative, you would be joining a community dedicated to nurturing our children and fostering a brighter future for them.
