It is important that students learn about the field of science, technology, engineering, and math because so much of our world is driven by it. More importantly is that students can see others like them and so visualize themselves in the field.
My students love learning, and I want to provide every opportunity possible for them to learn about different topics to expand their vision.
For this project, I am requesting a storage cabinet, and organizer to conveniently store and display STEM reading materials and printables for classroom use. The books selected for this project will highlight women in science. Other materials for future products will included different groups of people in science. I want my students to be exposed to a variety of STEM topics, and by having our conveniently located space students will have no problem locating them. These resources will help my students expand their knowledge to become the future people in science.
