My Project

Our urban high school library strives to be a vibrant hub of learning, but our collection lacks current, relevant resources about our own state, Minnesota. To truly empower our students, we need to provide them with access to contemporary books that explore our natural resources, local politics, state history, and current national perspectives. This DonorsChoose project aims to bridge this gap.

Imagine our students delving into books that illuminate the complexities of Minnesota's political landscape, understanding the historical context of their communities, and gaining diverse viewpoints on national issues.

These resources will foster civic engagement, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Students need access to information that directly relates to their lives.

By donating to this project, you'll equip our students with the tools to become informed and engaged citizens. You'll help them understand their place in Minnesota and the nation, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility. Your contribution will ensure that our library becomes a dynamic space where students can explore their identities, engage with current events, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
