My Project

We have started a new curriculum at our school this year. In this K for ME curriculum my students are experiencing hands on learning, problem solving, and creativity like never before. We have just started our third unit which is Construction. We are talking about constructing different sculptures, buildings, ideas, stories and more.

In our drama center we have created a dance and music studio.

My students are LOVING the idea of creating their own songs and dances. I would love to give them some more props to use such as microphones, boas, light up gloves, sunglasses and more. These items will be used each year during this unit to create an amazing experience.

I would also like to get construction vests, hats, and tools to use while they are working in the block center and discovery table. This adds to their experience and helps them to feel as though they are truly constructing and are an architect.
