Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are vey smart and they are ready to learn and have fun. I want to incorporate these fun learning activities so they can practice constructing small pictures with color pebbles and then write a word or sentence related to the picture they made as part of the literacy activities.

Constructive play teaches kids about manipulation, building, and fitting things together.

 As kids are playing with pebbles cognitive skills are used to figure out how to make something work best, this play also teaches the power of trying again.

Play is important part of child development that should be encouraged and supported. When kids have opportunities to play in the classroom at their own time and space to learn many skills, which will come independently. The beauty at play is that children discover these gems as they play their games, in their times and practice their literacy skills all in a good fun way.
