Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books and LEGO building sets will continue to enhance my students' learning. The students will read the chapter books to discover the history of LEGO and how this toy was invented. The students will then have the opportunity to build with the LEGO sets I am requesting in this project.

My students this year love building with LEGO Bricks!

They have built a few sets, but it is time they learn more! I want the students to read about the toy they love so much. I want them to gain an appreciation for the history behind the invention.

Our next reading unit is on Marine Life. I have ordered multiple sets of the shark kit so as many students as possible can build this set as we read about animals that live in the ocean. I look forward to deepening my students appreciation for LEGO Bricks and reading!
